When Linda first walked into The Family Place, she had no parenting skills, no family support, and no way to raise her family on her minimum wage job.  What she has was a determination to bring up her premature infant daughter differently than she had been raised.  The parent child center fed her motivation to be a good mom my helping her with parenting, counseling, support for staying sober, child care, and job skills training.  Today Linda is a terrific mom to her thriving toddler.  She works part-time and in enrolled in college with a goal of getting a full-time job that will support her family.

Linda isn't the only parent to succeed because of The Family Place.  Last year, over a thousand families benefited from the most comprehensive family support available in the Upper Valley for parents of children birth to age 6.  Both the present and future generations are affected every time a family succeeds.
